The Book of the Names of the Dead will be present in the church during the month of November 2020. All names entered into the book will remain in our parish prayers throughout the month. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, parishioners will not be able to enter names of deceased friends and relatives directly into the book. If you would like to add the name of a loved one into The Book of the Names of the Dead, please fill out the form below. Your loved one's name will be entered into the book for you by a staff member.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
"Blessed are they who mourn for they will be comforted." - Matthew 5.4
St. Andrew's Bereavement Ministry serves families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The members of the ministry are trained to successfully implement our mission to give comfort and support to the grieving families of the St. Andrew's community by giving them our time, hearing their thoughts and sharing their tears.
Every year on a Sunday following All Souls' Day (November 2), the Bereavement Ministry Team sponsors a service of Evening Prayer for those who have died from All Souls Day to All Souls Day. Participants can join in prayer and song and light a candle for their loved ones.
