Eucharistic Adoration
Thursdays 12:45 pm - 7:00 pm
Solemn Exposition followed by Adoration
Benediction at 6:45 pm
The Rite of Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction is an extension of the adoration of the Eucharist which takes place at every Mass. This is a form of prayer or "Adoration" that centers on the Eucharist - the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Through Eucharistic Adoration we strive to be one with Christ and His Church. The purpose of Eucharistic Adoration is to deeply draw us into the mystery of Christ's presence in the Blessed Sacrament. The Holy Eucharist is the way Christ chose to extend His Incarnation - His presence among us. The essence of Eucharistic Adoration is sitting and spending time with Christ Jesus present among us.
